Article 1 – DOMAIN

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are used to define the framework applicable to all contractual relationships arising from sales made via the Site for delivery throughout the world.

This contractual framework concerns all the different stages of the sale: from the order to the delivery via a possible refund or exchange.

Article 2 – PRODUCTS

The products offered for sale on this Site are those available on the Site or in store on the day of the order.

Each product includes a product sheet describing all of its essential characteristics including price, photography, dimensions, composition and colors available.

The customer’s attention should be drawn to the fact that there may be subtle differences between a product and its image, particularly with regard to the quality of the image.

The products offered for sale on the Site comply with the current regulations relating to the safety and health of persons in accordance with both French and European regulations, and in particular the legislation on regulated chemical substances.

The products offered for sale on the Site also comply with the requirements of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) to ensure that international trade in specimens of animals and Wild plants do not threaten the survival of the species to which they belong. Compliance with this agreement and the formalities involved entail additional time for processing and shipping the order. .

The prices are indicated in euros and all taxes included, taking into account the VAT applicable in France on the day of the order.

Duret Paris reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that the one applicable to the customer is the one displayed on the Site on the day of the order and confirmed thereafter during the validation.

Delivery costs, which are the responsibility of the customer, are indicated during the summary of the order before validation. They are inclusive of all taxes and are added to the selling price of the products.

In accordance with the provisions of Article L. 221-11 of the Consumer Code, a written confirmation is sent to the customer on each delivery specifying the price paid plus the delivery costs charged.

In case of display of a lower price or incorrect pricing, whatever the reason (human error or computer), the Customer will be informed as soon as possible that his order is canceled, even though it has been validated by Duret Paris .

This information complies with articles L.112-1 to L.112-4 of the French Consumer Code.

The orders made on the Site are broken down in several steps in accordance with the provisions of article 1125 and following of the Civil Code:

Step 1 : The customer selects the selected product (s) and adds them to their basket, which indicates how many items have been selected.

Step 2: The customer checks that their basket contains the selected elements and by clicking on “order” has access to the summary of their order that can still be modified at this stage.

Step 3: After having checked the order and if necessary having modified it, the customer validates their basket by clicking again on “order” to finalize their order.

Step 4: The customer must enter the delivery and billing information, the latter being by default the same as the delivery address. If they already have a customer account, they must identify themselves by filling in their email address and password. If they do not have one, they will have to create one.

The customer checks all the information entered and clicks “validate or make payment” to continue their order.

The confirmation of the order automatically entails acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale.

Step 5: The customer must indicate the means of payment used and then enter their bank details (card type, name of the cardholder, number, validity date, cryptogram) as soon as the secure payment screen appears.

When payment is accepted, the customer is automatically redirected to an order confirmation screen on the Site.

When the payment is refused, the customer is asked to re-enter his bank details. After several failures, a screen will appear meaning the refusal of payment.

Duret Paris reserves, within the meaning of Article L.121-11 of the Consumer Code, the right to refuse any abnormal transaction or transaction with a customer with whom there is a dispute over payment of a previous order.

Step 6: After acceptance of payment, the Customer receives a digital confirmation of his order with the summary of it, its amount and the billing address and delivery.

The sale will thus be considered final only after this confirmation.

The customer will receive from shipment of his order an electronic message of confirmation of dispatch of the order.

Payment of purchases is made when placing the order, by credit card (credit card, Visa, Eurocard / Mastercard, American Express) or through a PayPal account.

The debit of the Customer’s credit card is made at the time of placing the order.

Internet payment monitoring is carried out directly online with the banks and institutions overseen via the secure online transaction system called Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol equipped with the 3D Secure system.

The purchases made on the Site are thus secure so that the confidentiality of the transmitted banking information is ensured by encryption. No credit card numbers are kept on the Site.
