What are Duret Paris' shipping times?
Packages are typically shipped within a month and a half, once your payment has been received. Within France, they are sent via Colissimo, Chronopost or Fedex. International shipments are only sent via Fedex.
Is international shipping available?
We ship worldwide: Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and Russia.
Are returns possible?
Only products with manufacturing defects may be exchanged. For online orders, goods must be returned to us unmarked, in their original condition and packaging, accompanied by a copy of the receipt.
What is the repair time for a product?
Your products will be repaired within 2 to 4 weeks following their receipt by Maison Duret Paris.
Do you refund shipping fees for returned products?
Shipping fees will be refunded when you return a product. The refund will be processed within 15 business days.
What modes of payment are accepted?
You may pay for your order by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. We will begin manufacturing your belt or accessory as soon as your order is placed, if you pay by credit card, or once we receive your payment, if you pay by bank transfer.

Our leathers are produced by the most prestigious French tanneries. Out of respect for our craft, natural pigments are used to achieve a perfect colour.

Our leathers are subjected to a rigorous selection process. They are of superior quality and are elevated thanks to our masterful understanding of materials and dyes.
What ethical standards do you follow for your exotic leathers?
The prestigious French tanneries from which Duret Paris sources its leathers are regularly inspected, and their standards and reputations are well-established. Duret Paris works exclusively with exotic leathers that are certified and inspected, to ensure that our products are as ethical as they are chic. Our crocodile, ostrich and python leathers are all sourced from the United States, Australia, South Africa or Israel.
Why do you work with linen thread?
Linen thread is known for its strength. This noble material ensures the watertightness of every stitch once it has been heat treated with beeswax. Natural and environmentally friendly, Duret Paris’ linen thread is dyed with natural pigments.
What is the added value of Duret Paris' patinas?
A specialty of Maison Duret Paris, patinas give our products their unique character. This hand-crafted technique uses natural pigments, beeswax and mink oil, skilfully applied by our craftsmen and greatly appreciated by our customers.
Who does Duret Paris' gold tooling?
Our gold tooling is done by a master artisan in Paris. You can add a personal touch to your leather goods by engraving your initials or those of a loved one.
How are Duret Paris' belt buckles made?
Our buckles are crafted from pieces of solid brass and polished by hand. They can be plated with 5 micron thick galvanized gold, palladium or ruthenium.
