Smooth

It is thanks to the tanning process that leather gets its smoothness, but importantly, additional finishes can also be applied to the leather after it has been smoothed. A full grain aniline finish preserves the grain side (outside) of the hide intact, so its original surface and grain shine through. This makes the most beautiful type of leather, but also the most delicate. Depending on your preferences, Duret Paris can apply a pigmented full grain finish as a final touch on your smooth finish leather wallet. This involves dyeing the leather all the way through, and will even out its appearance and mask any minor blemishes. The grain of the leather can also be corrected so it is absolutely uniform. Your luxe smooth finish wallet can also be dyed in your choice of color, using natural pigments and traditional saddlery and leatherworking techniques.
